The Los Angeles Times is reporting the day to day life of Guantanamo Detainees. Detainees have a fully stocked library, five meals a day, vegetarian options, and the DNN also known as the Detainee News Network. Has anyone ever read the the book Time on the Cross? In the book, two economists analyze that slavery was simply a RETREAT and was generally favorable to American slaves. More than anything, I think the article trivilizes civil liberty deprivations.
